Hey there!
The Ceramic School is always on the lookout for great content from potters, artists, scholars, educators, and anyone else interested in writing about topics that matter to them. We mainly focus on the ceramic arts but our articles also extend into broader arts and crafts fields, including culinary arts, anthropology, history, economics, and politics. We love to hear personal narratives and welcome submissions for online publishing.
We accept articles ranging from 500 to 5,000 words, and if your article is published on our blog then you will receive a $100 USD honorarium per article. Our editor may edit your work for length, clarity, grammar, and spelling, but we always strive to preserve your unique voice and style.
We’re happy to credit you as the author and will provide an author profile page that includes a short bio and headshot or studio shot. We also encourage direct communication between readers and authors by including links to your personal website or email address on your author page.
If we publish your article, you retain the copyright, but give us permission to publish, reproduce, and distribute all or part of it in any media form. After a year, you’re free to publish or license the article elsewhere, as long as you credit us as the original publisher.
