Indicative texture 6 (Smooth 1-Coarse 10).
Wide maturing range. Can be used for earthenware or low stoneware.
Good general properties, but excellent for large pots.
Low shrinkage due to high grog content.
Firing to a terracotta colour at earthenware.
Colour gradually changes with increasing temperature to a warm toasted brown.
