Central Craft

Central Craft is a not for profit member organisation based in Alice Springs that supports and promotes traditional and contemporary craft and design practice in Central Australia.In 2022, Central Craft will be hosting The Australian Ceramics Triennale to come to Alice Springs which will expose our organisation to a national and international audience, and place Central Australia well and truly in the centre of the craft landscape in Australia; positioning us well to attract potential artists in residence and workshop facilitators.Central Craft is a hub where designers, artists and craftspeople come together to create, play, explore, discover and/or weave raw materials transforming them into functional or decorative final products. Central Craft has a well-equipped studio including pottery equipment with a gas and electric kiln.
