Hi, My name is Sandi and I am from California. I just acquired a slip casting table, slip mixer and about 500 molds. I did ceramics about 30 years ago. I burned up my kiln and quit doing ceramics. In 2019 I took a ceramics class at our local college and was hooked again. I live about 2 hours from Laguna Clay Company and I purchased about 300 lbs. of dry slip from them. I started out pouring with some premixed slip I had on hand, so haven’t mixed any yet, but getting ready to. Any tips would be Greatly Appreciated and looking forward to being a member of this group.

Do you know of any way to recycle old plaster molds? I also just inherited alot. Most are good but the rest are not. I don’t want to send them to the landfill but i also don’t want to keep them.
