hi everybody ! Looking for help please ! 🙂 I am looking for a good satin / matte commercial glaze for earthenware… I am trying to make underglaze decorated functional ware – with grey (concrete-like variations in color).. so far tried Duncan and Speedball gloss clears – and they are too shiny, but also seem to distort the color in different ways.. Photo attached.. they look shiny and almost gaudy.. they need to look like wet concrete with funky colors :))
Are there satin / mattes which would be good for this ? Or any good low fire matte / satin recipes I can try ? Any help appreciated ! Planning to try Mayco Matte next. Heard Duncan satin is good – but did not find it yet. Thanks a lot in advance !
