I am a Canadian ceramicist living in Barcelona Spain. My work references both my history in the Pacific north west coastal life, and current influences of European ancient structures crumbling about the life of cities I stay in. From lighthouse towers to church spires, the emblems of transcendence, hope, succour and navigational guidance is embellished with lifeforms we need to pay attention to. My work is passionate about our connection to the earth, as is the clay we play with.
