I'm a sculptor and a I paint with underglazes. All my work is hand-made using different hand-building techniques and painted with AMACO underglazes.

Your work is really lovely. These children have very thoughtful eyes and your watercolor techniques are so well done, and not easy to do. Do you do this on greenware and then fire? What is your top coat? Do you coast with a clear glaze or leave without?

Hi Jana, I paint on bisque and fire to cone 5, no clear glaze. I don’t like shiny surfaces.
