I am Karen Sacks and i live in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the USA. I am a handbuilder and teach at several local art centers. I LOVE teaching! Almost more than making! I feel so grateful that I am able to spend every day with women and a few men who entrust me to teach them about clay. I came to pottery after I suffered a brain injury in a car wreck. It helped me rebuild my brain so I can talk and think and problem-solve better than any cognitive therapy had done. In addition to handbuilding I am passionate about surface decoration. Love color.
