Hi all! I have a question about warped plates. My plates always seem to warp the same way – they bow up in the center outwards, so anything put in the middle would roll to the rim. I’ve included some pics although it is hard to get a good angle of the warping.
My process is this:
– hand roll out slab with rolling pin
– move as best I can to…

I have similar issues with the two different clay bodies I use, so I’m curious what advice others will give. Beyond what you describe I try to dry my plates very slowly on the drywall board, keep them wrapped for as long as I can. I also have socks stuffed with rice that I lay on plates that seems to help a bit.
