About Me
Introduction | I was born in Riga, Latvia to Ukrainian parents. Lived in Ukraine, then moved with family to Germany and at 16 I went to England to learn the language… ended up meeting my husband here, together with our 2 daughters we lived in Spain for 9 years and are now back in the Uk once again. Interested in finding out what I make next and where it’ll take me. |
What I Love about Ceramics | Ceramics is my first love and it has not faded ever and I really hope it never does! |
How I started with ceramics |
|
What inspires me | I love sculpture, the human face in particular. Some people’s faces as I walk past them on the street fascinate me and I want to take a picture ( but don’t obv). Hands are a close second. |
What I'm working on at the moment | I’m working on my mindset. I find it extremely difficult to put myself out there. I know people like what I make but I’m blocked probably by fear…. Hoping to change that very soon. |
