Introduction |
Hi Potters!
I’m just starting my ceramic journey and have a lot to learn!
|
What I Love about Ceramics |
I love the ceramics community, of course! I also make other things, but it’s always alone, so it’s nice to be with a group of local artists.
I am finding I like working on sculptural pieces rather than functional (but it’s a hard choice).

How I started with ceramics |
After I graduated from Hartford Art School and was looking for a community. Although ceramics wasn’t my major, I enjoyed it when I took a class at school. Wesleyan Potters is a local Pottery Co-Op where I now take classes and meet all sorts of wonderful people while learning a lot!

What inspires me |
I get so much inspiration from so many places – nature, politics, my life as a child, existential thoughts, my pets…
|
What I'm working on at the moment |
Currently, I am working in Enamel and am on a week-long break from pottery, so I thought I’d learn someting new.
