My Artist Statement | The gift of creation is an act of worship, as humans we have been granted the ability to think and act creatively, and we see that on a daily basis, a mom tries a new recipe to encourage her kids to eat or a teacher tries creatively to reach the students are fe of many examples on wonderful creations.an artist, however, holds a special place in that the manifestation of creativity results in new things, we pour our efforts, ideas, dreams, aspirations, feelings into our endeavors to create something that didn’t exist when we started. Sometimes we succeed in pleasing ourselves, and sometimes we fail, but it is when we fail that we learn to be resilient and pursue that same dream or even create a new dream. My work is a reflection of how the mastermind and the magic hands collaborate harmonically in the process of creation. |
