Introduction	I was born and live in Istanbul and ceramics is a long-term hobby although I had to take loong breaks now and then. The main reason was I was not satisfied with the hobby classes. After retirement I started vocational college for ceramics, glass and Turkish Tiles, however I am looking into ways for a more artistic and unique way of creating ceramics to eventually see myself as a ceramic artist in my own right.
What I Love about Ceramics	Connection to the Earth, using the 4 elements earth, water, fire and air when creating ceramics, the limitless possibilities, forming the clay (mud) into something meaningful and beautiful.
How I started with ceramics	I started as a hobbyist.
What inspires me	Pottery of ancient Anatolian civilizations, Shamanism, mystical stuff, leaves and flowers
What I'm working on at the moment	Some school projects on Turkish Tiles, Anatolian Civilizations
