Introduction	Hi, I’m Kara and I live in Hamilton, ON Canada. I’ve been working with clay for 6 years now. I’ve always made art but focused on printmaking in University. Pottery is a hobby for me not a business and I adore making and experimenting.
What I Love about Ceramics	I love everything about pottery- even the heartbreak. If it wasn’t so unpredictable and difficult I would have gotten bored long ago.
How I started with ceramics	When I took on a stressful job I started taking pottery classes, I gradually noticed that I slept better the nights I had a pottery class and decided to set up my own little studio in a small corner of my basement.
What inspires me	Nature and industry are two things that surround and inspire me here in Hamilton.
What I'm working on at the moment	Pit firing and processing my own clay have been my latest obsession.
