My favorite is satin matte, but I also do a lot of gloss glazes. I mix my own. I have several of my own glazes and I test other people’s glazes and adjust accordingly.

I am older now and i am reducing my palette from 15 glazes to 4 -6. I love slip work and will probably focus on that in the next 2 years. My work is functional ceramics for the home and garden.

I am a part-time potter and have been making pots about 25 years, but I am constantly learning since I only do it part-time. I also teach beginners with never more than 3 students at a time.
