About Me
| Introduction | My name is Lynne. I have a wheel and kiln, but have taken University classes to do sculptures. I love clay and want to explore more surface decoration. I have taken classes to improve that, but can always use more inspiration.
|
| What I Love about Ceramics | I love the process of creating something. I get a thrill when I pull something out of the kiln that I like. |
| How I started with ceramics | Colicky baby + local art classes = happy mama |
| What inspires me | I love seeing other people creating work around me. That is one reason that I prefer to work in a school or open studio setting whenever possible. |
| What I'm working on at the moment | I am working out of my garage and need to do some work on my materials as I had a bit of a stall last year. Everything is a little on the dry side… clay, underglazes, glazes… |
| My Artist Statement | I am very “in the moment” with whatever I am making. I tend to have a goal… which is different each time I head out to the garage. Be it platters, silk screen, carving, jewelry… my “go-to” when I have no specific goal is to just make bowls. |
| My CV | I am president of the local guild, encouraging the group to do group sales and to network with each other. |
