If you read a few posts down, there is a person who used to do that as his job. I would contact him. The only molds I have made recently were hump molds. 
Best advice i ever got was to watch out for undercuts as they will always get caught and wreck the mold and possibly the item itself.

Also don’t forget to use a release agent so the plaster does not stick to your form.
