2 years agoHandbuilding 2 years agoHi all! I’m trying to make some mugs using textured slabs. Im having some issues with the seams. Any tips for securing the seems without a break in the texture and increasing thickness?

I”ve always just tried to hide the seam under the handle, lol. Do you have texture on both inside and outside? I’ve seen folks use a small one handed wood rolling in to seal the outside while bracing from the inside. Makes a more consistent pressure over the seam on the outside without finger marks. Would love to hear others suggestions too!
