Making a Japanese Teapot

Teapots are a very traditional thing. They signify patience, sophistication and a deep amount of culture. One of the reasons is because teapots are simply so damn hard to make! So when you do finally make a good teapot, you take care of it and treat it like it is your own flesh and blood. Throwing a bowl is one thing, throwing a beautiful vase is another… throwing a beautiful teapot from one lump of clay, without taking measurements, in less than 5 minutes, is just extreme!
