In my artistic practice, I find profound inspiration in the tactile and sensory experience of working with clay. The medium serves as both my canvas and companion, allowing me to delve into the nuanced properties of distinct clay bodies. Each type, from the delicate translucency of porcelain to the earthy warmth of red clay, becomes a partner in my creative exploration.
Surface decoration is my language of expression, a means to intricately embellish my pieces with a visual narrative. I revel in the minutiae of textures, creating a rich tapestry that tells a story beyond the form. Each stroke and pattern is a deliberate exploration, adding layers of depth and meaning to the tactile experience of my art.

After completing my education in Engineering and earning a master’s degree in design, I embarked on a career as a product designer in educational firms across India. Despite my professional focus, my enduring interest in crafts studies remained a constant. Throughout my career, I independently documented numerous crafts and contributed to academic projects.

In the diverse pursuits of my life, from academic projects to my role as a product designer, I have consistently found joy in the hands-on exploration of materials. This journey of continuous learning has led me to discover pottery as a medium that harmonizes all the skills I’ve acquired over the years. Pottery, for me, is not only a form of artistic expression but a means to further explore and educate in multifaceted ways.
