Zinc-Free Clear is a glossy glaze recommended for use with underglazes to reduce the incidence of color shift. Most underglazes, stains, and coloring oxides will show their best color with Zinc-Free Clear. Some colors may be muted with HF-9 Zinc-Free Clear: V-315 Peach, V-316 Light Pink, V-323 Salmon. Note that all dry dipping glazes can be difficult to layer. Dipping glazes behave differently from brushing and they require thorough testing prior to layering full piece.
