The business has been supplying ceramicists on the North Coast and in the Northern Rivers for over 30 years.Ove Altmann and Madeleine Smith became the proprietors in January 2014.Ove comes to the business with a degree in Fine Arts from the National Art School where he majored in painting. For the 10 years prior to buying the business Ove worked as an assistant at St John’s College, Woodlawn where he developed his love of clay and the firing process.Madeleine qualified as a naturopath in 1999 and also has considerable experience in business administration. Madeleine studied ceramics at Brookvale TAFE for a short period of time in the early 90s and since buying the business has reignited her interest in all things clay.
