Maker-ing

I was born in the Netherlands but also lived in Belgium, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Italy, Vietnam, Portland Oregon. In 2022 I’m moving back ‘home’, after nearly 30 years globe trotting.

As a creative soul I like to explore with all kind of medium but clay is my first love. I had a blast with my own shop in Ho Chi Mihn City setting up amaï saigon ceramics. In SE Portland I started my own ceramic studio under the name maker-ing. Back in the Netherlands I will set up my creative studio just outside of Amsterdam. I hope to get to know and connect to the local clay community back home, as well as welcoming clay friends from our overseas community.
