Erin Morris

Erin Morris is a potter as well as the owner and operator of The Pottery, located in the Fulford village on Saltspring Island. She was raised in the South end of Saltspring, immersed in nature and the islands artist community. Over the years, Erin grew up exploring many artistic mediums, and in her early twenties she fell in love with clay after apprenticing with Island potter Julie MacKinnon. She subsequently completed the Clay Design program at Kootenay School of the Arts in Nelson, BC. She makes mostly functional wheel thrown pottery with a comfortable feel and an attractive minimal aesthetic. She draws inspiration from the natural world around her and creates pots to be used and enjoyed everyday.
