Thought I’d just introduce myself. I’ve been potting for about a year now. I’m loving it! I bought the clay camp workshops from 2024 about surface design but haven’t had chance to watch them yet.
I’m not very tech savvy and can’t abide Facebook (I use it under duress).
I’d love it if we can get this forum up and running for chat/help/inspiration about ceramics without the feeling that everyone has an angle (as in something to sell as is the case with FB) but unless I’m doing something wrong I can’t see any traffic much on here. Fingers crossed somebody wants to engage and I’m not just a sad “Billy no mates”!

Hi Debbie, I just posted this morning and had hoped for the same community/forum – also trying to find alternatives to FB and I was prompted to do this via an email I received. However, my earlier post asking for advice, is no longer present, yet older ones from your admins are. Could you help keep these public discussions more prominent to build this type of community here vs. selling of wares?

I would honestly use this more if it was more user friendly but it’s not for me.

@Dawn Sartin mobile app. I am mostly on the go and it is easier to use the app. Even when you posted this reply, I got a notifcation on my phone but if I click on it, it just takes me to the home page and I have to find it. I have to click on the comment(s) just to see them. For the videos I cannot favorite videos, nor can I easily find videos that I am currently in progress, and it doesn’t even save my spot, so I have to remember where I am.
