Hi everyone. I am new to this site but been doing ceramics sporadically for about 10 years now. I am a busy teacher but retire in June, so will have more time to spend doing ceramics. We are building a new home in Tijeras, NM (very near Albuquerque) and I will have my own CLAY Room. So excited. I love to hand build trays the most and throw pots also. Then I paint on them using underglazes with a satin clear glaze over before the last fire. I will include a couple of pictures of my work. I would love to find someone in my new area that would like to work together.

  Your underglaze work is beautiful! Can’t wait to see more of what your own CLAY Room will look like as I am in the process of making a lil studio in the corner of my garage. It isn’t much, but I love learning about other setups to help improve my own 😊

    Thank you. I will post some pictures when done…but probably not until Oct. Haven’t started the building yet. I also have a 2 and1/2 garage now and I get the 1/2. It’s tight but I love having my own spot.
