Introduction	I am coming back to ceramics after raising four kids and homeschooling. I was without a studio for over 20 years, but am back to throwing. I have a MFA in ceramics from Utah State University. I am currently firing cone 10 in an electric kiln, in my garage studio. I am currently living in Southern California.
What I Love about Ceramics	I love the feel of the clay, making, and surface decoration. I love surprises coming out of the kiln.
How I started with ceramics	Touched clay for the first time when I was 12 or 13, loved it from day one.
What inspires me	I am strongly influenced by water, movement, the beach, and my love for ocean colors. I will eventually get back to layering colors and images to create a design. Currently I am working with slip to create texture and pattern.
