| Introduction |
I am a self taught ceramic artist. My first love is sculpting whimsical animals. I have recently started making kitchenware to pair with the fish batter I sell. I am an avid outdoorsman and I use my time I spend outdoors to inspire my work. I also a full time ceramics instructor.

| What I Love about Ceramics |
No matter how long one has been doing ceramics everyone is at the mercy of the kiln gods.

| How I started with ceramics |
I originally started my career as a muralist. I fell into ceramics by accident. I was offered a teaching job 16 years ago in ceramics and I never looked back.

| What inspires me |
I am an avid fisherman and spend around 70 days a year on the water. The animals I run across during my time outdoors is what I love to base my art around.

| What I'm working on at the moment |
I am working on a new style of handles for a mug series. I am also working towards creating decals or stencils for my surface decoration.

I don’t have one. I love doing my work and that is all I need.
