Introduction
Hi! I live and work on the island of Maui in Hawaii.

What I Love about Ceramics
Ceramics provides the type of expression I cannot find with any other medium for the way I prefer to work. It has also become my meditation. When I’m sat at the wheel, everything else dissolves and I’m solely focused on the clay. My science background and innate curiosity for how things work has propelled my studies in glaze chemistry. It’s pure joy.

How I started with ceramics
I first touched clay in 1992, but I wasn’t in the right mindset to give it my full attention. Life carried on, and in 2016 I made the decision to study clay and practice the craft.
