| Introduction |
I am just a person who loves clay and has the luxury of experimenting and doing whatever takes my fancy.
I love handbuilding, sometimes wheelwork, painting underglazes and just trying out ideas.
I need more tutition but there are no formal teaching where I live so everything is an online class which I find hard. I have loved the clay classroom in the past and having that direct mentor beside me guiding me down the sometimes treacherous path of success with clay.
I teach myself and sometimes pass on my joy and knowledge to my friends in small workshops.
I will play with clay until I die. I love it.

| What I Love about Ceramics |
Clay is endless in it’s possibilities and is my closest companion.
|
| How I started with ceramics |
I started in the 90s painting plates. I painted and painted and sold loads of my work. I then went to pottery school and got a bit serious. I had a baby and the pottery scene was a bit flat. Until now. Lucky I did not sell any of my tools and equipment. I move to acerage and have plenty of room to create.

| What inspires me |
I love looking at everyone else’s work. I am inspired by every pottery who gives this art a whirl.
|
| What I'm working on at the moment |
I am working on mixing clay together, nerikomi. Not going too great but experimenting along the way is fun. I am also making mosaic panels.
