Introduction	My name is Stacey, I am from a small town in Oklahoma. I am a hand builder and work out of my home studio. I also work a full time job and want very much to be able to learn more and be able to retire that job and make pottery full time.
What I Love about Ceramics	The expression. The feel, the anticipation, the surprise, the calmness and the fear- lol
How I started with ceramics	An accidental trip into a pottery studio that just opened in our small town. The owner asked if I would be interested in a class if she decided to have them. I was her first student. Fell in love with it, and ended up even teaching there later.
What inspires me	Seeing what people have created from their experiences. And also nature. Love using textures found just out on walks or trips to use.
What I'm working on at the moment	Trying to improve on mugs.
My Artist Statement	To have fun and be myself.
My CV	I have set up at several art fairs and festivals, have work at the local art alliance building and several stores around town.
