About Me
| Introduction | My name is Stacey, I am from a small town in Oklahoma. I am a hand builder and work out of my home studio. I also work a full time job and want very much to be able to learn more and be able to retire that job and make pottery full time. |
| What I Love about Ceramics | The expression. The feel, the anticipation, the surprise, the calmness and the fear- lol |
| How I started with ceramics | An accidental trip into a pottery studio that just opened in our small town. The owner asked if I would be interested in a class if she decided to have them. I was her first student. Fell in love with it, and ended up even teaching there later. |
| What inspires me | Seeing what people have created from their experiences. And also nature. Love using textures found just out on walks or trips to use. |
| What I'm working on at the moment | Trying to improve on mugs. |
| My Artist Statement | To have fun and be myself. |
| My CV | I have set up at several art fairs and festivals, have work at the local art alliance building and several stores around town. |
