I love ceramics for it’s versatility, the combination of sculpture and painting, the dynamic movement of clay.

I took some classes 20 years ago and have been with it on and off between life, textile art, and painting.

| What inspires me |
I’m invigorated by nature, by conversations with people, and by the quiet when the power goes out.

| What I'm working on at the moment |
I’m learning to slipcast porcelain so I can create some translucent lights/sculptures.

| My Artist Statement |
I’m moving away from functional work and more into sculpture and a period of exploration. I don’t have a specific body of work to point to but I love incorporating my textile ideas with ceramics and hope to do that more in the future.
