About Me
Introduction | Elderly lady who loves playing with clay. Never really a ‘professional’, but a little more than a hobbyist.  Been doing pottery on and off since around 1995.  Live alone with a cat. |
What I Love about Ceramics | The feel of the clay. Making something out of a lump of clay. Learning new techniques and improving on one I already know. Â Love teaching a new potter and watching them start to love pottery! |
How I started with ceramics | Went to college in my ‘50s and discovered the Ceramics Dept. at Louisiana State University, Bobby Silverman was teaching and was most influential in my loving pottery. |
What inspires me | Odd shapes, inspirational  YouTubes, Tim See, and other potters who share their experience with us. |
What I'm working on at the moment | Vase for wedding present for grandson, made several, ready to glaze. Pieces to put at Mid City Artians, Christmas presents for friends. |
