This was the most awesome congress! To me it was school time. You know I spent time searching out on what I wanted to learn. When I found out that quite a number of potters were on my list, I decided to buy the replays. And this did not stop me from watching most of them plus taking notes! I wonder why? They were fully packed which was good. But I would like to suggest that people who come to teach should have something to sell e.g Forrest Middleton had a book. I have been following him on you tube. And I will make sure I attend one of his workshops. There were other people and we were sucking precious information out of them. Some were unwilling and I don’t blame them. I know that the workshops were bumper to bumper, but it was a good sales option. It was unfortunate I could not attend the markets…I could not access. Well, there was a lot to learn and it was very well organized. People like Fabiola did a very good job and so did the others. I have to attend the Japan one because ‘Nerikomi’ is what I am after and I love it. I don’t regret the sleepless nights because I hope to start something pottery somewhere in Africa for job creation. Thank you, to Congress and the whole team.
