My Ceramics

In the studio I like to do	Handbuilding, Sculpting
Clay body	Stoneware
Clay Brand	Standard
Kiln Type	Electric Kiln
Kiln Atmosphere	Oxidation Atmosphere
Temperature	Cone 6
Glaze	I use slips and underglazes. I rarely use an overglaze unless I need it for stability around weak joins or “body” parts. I finish with either a coat of molten beeswax or encaustic wax. I strictly make pieces that are not functional but rather critters that are made in a whimsical format.
