Introduction	Barb Swanner, from Sandy Springs, GA, USA. I am an artist, teacher. I have been teaching ceramics and art for over 20 years. I love surface design.
What I Love about Ceramics	The feel of the clay and all that can be done to the surface.
How I started with ceramics	Took a summer college class in art school while majoring in fine arts. This was my second career. Wound up getting a minor in ceramics, made large multi-piece wall tiles when I started.
What inspires me	The textures in nature.
What I'm working on at the moment	Making new demo pieces for my students.
