Hi my name is Gretchen and I’ve been a creative person for as long as I can remember. I enjoy so many mediums but wish I could hone my skills in one type and make a career creating.

| What I Love about Ceramics |
The very first time I ever did ceramics was my freshman year of college over 30 years ago. I took ceramics 1 and 2 and I loved it. Many years later I took two classes from a potter whose work I loved and that is it.  That was all of my ceramic experience until this year. I enrolled in ceramics 1 at the jr college I first attended and my instructor is the same one I had 30 years ago. This is her last year teaching so I’m thrilled to have her again.
I am LOVING CLASS! It’s the best part of my week!!
I am looking forward to learning so much more and I’m so excited to have found the Ceramic School!

| What I'm working on at the moment |
Im working on a lamp that I can’t wait to finish!! It’s waiting to be glazed. I do not LOVE any of the glazes available in my class so I’m at a stand still with it. But I can’t wait to share it as soon as I finish it.
