Starting my first ceramics throwing course tomorrow and I am both excited and nervous. Learning during this pandemic has proven to be difficult, so I am saving up to buy my own pottery wheel. Since I can’t find a place to fire pieces right now, I plan on reusing the clay I throw for a cycle of creating, drying, trimming, destroying, recycling/ creating slip, drying for solid chuck of clay, repeat. Even though I will not be able to fire pieces, I know I will learn a lot from this process!
