In the studio I like to do	Handbuilding, Throwing on the Wheel, Sculpting
Pottery Wheel	Brent Classic and the Clay Boss by Creative Industries.
Clay body	Stoneware
Clay Brand	Armadillo and Trinity Ceramics
Kiln Type	Electric Kiln
Temperature	Bisque O4 and Glaze 5-6
Glaze	A variety of glazes and underglazes, mostly Amaco.

Introduction	Hi, My name is Jeff. I have been a public school visual art teacher for 28 years. I grew up in Colorado, but currently live and teach near Dallas, TX. Because of my ADHD my approach to clay changes often or I get bored. I do seem to come back to face jugs more than any other approach. I love my wife and son, soccer and am obsessed with birds of prey. That is why my son’s name is Talon.
What I Love about Ceramics	The main thing I love about ceramics is the versatility of the material.
How I started with ceramics	I made a large coil pot in 5th grade that I loved. It is still on display in my house. I believe this is when my interest in clay was sparked.
What inspires me	I pull inspiration from everywhere, but most consistently from nature.
What I'm working on at the moment	Sadly, I am not currently making much art these days. I am hoping that getting involved on this site will get me going again.
