About Me
| Introduction | Hello, so happy to be apart of you. My name is Debbie I am from Utah. United States. I make all kinds of pottery pieces. I guess I am still trying to find my nitch. I love so many styles. I am setting up my own studio and look forward to helpful suggestions. |
| What I Love about Ceramics | I love getting lost in ceramic’s. Making each pottery piece gives me so much peace of mind. I can close the world off. I love seeing all work and pottery pieces other make. |
| How I started with ceramics | Living in Virginia 2013 and decided to take a college pottery class. I fell in love. I have traveled to California, Tennessee and now 2021 I am in Utah. With me came my trusty Brent wheel and 700 pounds of clay. I found a used kiln and can’t wait to start making beautiful pieces in my own studio |
| What inspires me | What inspires me is beautiful things in our world. I look closely at nature. Thinking how I can incorporate life in my pieces. I have made several Indian busts. |
| What I'm working on at the moment | Hand building mugs. I have 2 torn rotator cuffs and unable to throw right now. |
| My Artist Statement | I would have to say my favorite pieces are my Indian Busts |
| My CV | I sold all my finished pieces this summer at the farmer’s markets in in our little town. We have a lot of traveler’s passing through our town |
