About Me
| Introduction | Hello My name is Lee and I am Live in British Columbia, Canada. I work as a Visual Designer and enjoy many art forms. Pottery was something I always have wanted to try and once I did there was no going back. I really enjoy working in clay as a way to counteract the digital work I do, I find it fascinating that pottery is found centuries after its creation. |
| What I Love about Ceramics | I think at this point I love the process, the design challenges and the endless variation of ceramics. Right now I am exploring the natural texture of clay and how at different stages it can change. |
| How I started with ceramics | I had a brief class as a child which always stuck with me. It wasn’t until my brother had a serious accident which left him brain damaged that I felt I couldn’t waste time anymore. As he recovered I took a class with him which I believe has helped him. |
| What inspires me | Mostly I am drawn to CG art, Science Fiction and Fantasy. I am curious about space and what clay from mars might be like. I think every artist is inspired by nature. |
| What I'm working on at the moment | I am working on skills and the business side of clay. I am learning glaze chemistry and kiln firing. |
