Hello everyone.

I have a quick question about glaze and disposal. So in college my professor had us wash all of our glaze tools in the same container, and we would collect it and dispose of it as hazardous waste, no matter what kind of glaze it was.

I am currently starting my own little studio and am unsure of how I should dispose of my glaze waste. I am only using lead free and non toxic glazes, and I won’t have much waste each time (just the water from cleaning my tools and such). How should I dispose of my glaze water? Do I need to collect it each time and take it to a hazards waste drop off?

Any advice or resources would be lovely.
