My name is Marie, I leave in the french part of Switzerland by the lake. I am a working mom with a toddler and a baby at home, and I discovered that working on ceramics is a great getaway 🙂

| What I Love about Ceramics |
Building things from scratch. Realizing ideas, never knowing what the final result will look like. The texture of course, the feeling in your hands. And my favourite technique at the moment, Sgraffito!

| How I started with ceramics |
I started a year ago, while a I was 7 months pregnant and on off work because of my pregnancy. I joined a class as I was intrigued by ceramics by several year. And it was love at first sight!
I haven’t stopped since. I gave up the class because of my newborn AND because of Covid. So I started buying tools to set up a small removable studio at home. So I did most of my pieces handmade without a wheel.
