I’ve got the tiniest little woodfire kiln at the school I’ve started teaching at (maybe 12” x 36” x 24” loading space inside).
The previous teacher only fired it once because people called the fire dept thinking there was a wildfire. With a kiln this little is there a good way to keep the smoke down? Any suggestions…

Start firing with a propane weed burner and a 20 gallon tank then finish with wood.
