About Me
Introduction | I am in Saskatchewan Canada. I have taken a long break from creating anything with clay and am finding my way back to my creative potter. I have done pottery, ceramics, painting, drawing, yarn work, sculpture, sewing, carving and crafting with almost anything that I can. |
What I Love about Ceramics | It’s versatility and connection to nature. |
How I started with ceramics | In highschool I tried it, in University I fell in love with it but couldn’t afford to do anything with it. Then work and life got in the way. Now kids are older and my husband is encouraging me to follow my joy. |
What inspires me | Nature of environment and nature of people. I am finding new inspiration all of the time but I am exploring the curves of the female form. |
What I'm working on at the moment | Creating my perfect work space in my house while waiting for back surgery. |
My Artist Statement | Why can’t items be functional and interesting to look at? |
My CV | None yet. I have normally given my work away as gifts. |
