| Introduction |
My name is Judy, I have loved working with clay since the 70’s. Life took over and I have not had the chance to progress beyond small pieces and hobby quality. I love slab work, I really like coil work and I would love to be good on the wheel. I a most interested in getting the type of surfaces that bring beauty to my work. for me, it is all in the glaze or finish of the piece. I have not achieved that yet.

| What I Love about Ceramics |
I love anything that looks like it was made by loving hands. I despise production pieces of anything.
|
| How I started with ceramics |
I started at a community college in Sheridan, Wyoming, I made 80+ pieces that semester. I loved it so much. We moved and I did not have access to a studio or kiln until about 15 years ago, then I was so busy working that it was still a challenge to make anything. Now I am retired and 3 months past brain surgery for a tumor and it is my time to play!
