Introduction |
I identify as a Diasporist Jew. My ceramics practice gives me a way to connect all of the elements to my spiritual alchemy.

What I Love about Ceramics |
It’s versatility. How tactile it is. The challenge. How it combines all of the elements- Earth, Water, Fire, Air. It can be simple or complicated. It can be monochromatic or insanely colorful. It can be purely decorative or, on the opposite spectrum, purely functional. It truly is alchemy.

How I started with ceramics |
I started in high school with some figure sculpting classes. A couple of classes in college. Fast forward 15 years and I now live on an island with a community ceramics studio and I am absolutely obsessed!
|
What inspires me |
My Spirit, my experiences, my emotions, my struggles. The universe. Trying new things, just seeing what the clay wants to do. Sacred geometry.
|
What I'm working on at the moment |
I Want to successfully make a goblet and a closed shape. I really want to try carving into clay.
