My name is Melodee. I have retired and enjoy hand building. We have a small group of hand building enthusiasts here in the adult community I live in. We meet weekly and share ideas. We do not have a kiln and use a professional service for firing.
I enjoy embellishing my work with wood, stones, bones and objects I have collected over the years.

I love how the clay often controls how I am able to manipulate and form it. The stages of anticipation, the creative release and once in awhile total satisfaction with the whole process.

I took ceramics in college and reintroduced myself to the clay after almost 50 years.
