About Me

Introduction

I’m an English & drama HS teacher turned potter, based in Warsaw, Poland. I’ve always been interested in stories and now I’m learning to tell them through the medium of ceramics. I’ve been studying ceramics hyper-intensly since May 2020, and moved from my kitchen table to a small studio a year later. 🙂 I’m intent on making pieces that are functional, but I find repetition boring, so I make dinnerware pieces in very short series and move on to yet another technique or idea.

What I Love about Ceramics

It’s the only thing in the world that has made time fly without me realising. I love how the possibilities that clay offers seem infinite. Ceramics is incredibly interdisciplinary and satisfies both my creative and academic inclinations.

What inspires me

Stories. Words. Metaphors. Popular culture. Old photographs. People.
