I am Jennifer. I am from Alabama. I began with hand building. I have recently began wheel throwing. I love experimenting with new textures and designs. I like to use lots of color with my designs. I just want my art to put a smile on someone’s face!

| What I Love about Ceramics |
I love the connection with nature and it’s almost like meditation for me. I just love seeing what I can come up with next and who it connects with.

| How I started with ceramics |
I had always wanted to do ceramics so I took my first class at age 47. It was a beginners wheel throwing class. Next was a Raku class and I’ve been hooked ever since!

| What inspires me |
People inspire me. I usually have a person in mind and what I think they would like. If I can connect with people around me then I can connect with others. I love meeting other artists and seeing where their journeys go as well. Always such a positive energy.

| What I'm working on at the moment |
At the moment I am working on design elements textures and color. Take a traditional piece and add something unexpected.

Love what you do and do what you love ❤️. Skill takes you so far… passion takes you the rest of the way. I am quirky and it shows up in alot of my work. Do what makes you happy.
